Intersection of S Belfast Road (ME-105; at the bottom, heading left to right) and the Ridge Road (ME-32), top to bottom), Windsor, ME. All buildings seen here still stand, though many of them suffer from deferred maintenance.
Starting at the center (corner of S Belfast Road and Ridge Road) is a homestead that span s this corner. The side facing the photographer has changed little, though the stairs leading to the rightmost door are gone and the storm doors have been removed. The ell stretching back along Ridge Road also still stands, as does the flat-roof garage at the end. Until around 2010 many of the trees near the road still stood, but have since been cut down. The home is in sever need of a coat of paint today.
Across the road (Approx. 640 Ridge Road) is a commercial building, which still looks much the same today. A small diamond-shaped window in the attic states the building was built in 1894. From what I can tell this building has been used for storage since at least the late 2000s, and is also in need of a coat of paint.
The other building on the left side of the road also still stands, and looks as though it may have been the local fire department garage. Some time prior to the 2000s a two-bay extension was built on the side closes to the photographer, and the building has been clad in vinyl siding. Unknown use today.
At the top is the Windsor Town Hall, which still stands and looks similar today. The front stairs have been removed in favor of an access ramp that extends towards the photographer, and the entire lot to the side has been paved. A few years after this photo was taken a new post office would also be built on this lot between the home and the town office.
