37 Tyler Road, China, ME. This home, its ells, and barn all still stand today, though changes and modernization has occurred. The porch has had the windows updated to more modern double-hung ones, and the house is clad in a white vinyl siding. the windows on the house and ell remain the same, though the two windows on the second floor of the barn were replaced with a larger single window. All standard sized windows now have shutters, and a two-car garage was built to the left (on the other side of the bushes in this picture. Power lines no longer run behind the house.

My first memory of this house was in the mid 1950's when Maude Manning lived there. She was Wilson Manning's mother (I think). I remember as an old lady who always had candy in a little dish in the livingroom. Around 1960, or so, the Robideau's lived there for a while. And then Perley and Hazel Thomas moved in with David, Karen and Lori.
