This is the house that I grew up in during the 1970's until 1985 in Mattawamkeag. Back then we referred to the road as old road 157; today it is known as Hathaway Rd. Our backyard ended at the banks of the Penobscot River. To the left was our neighbors the Coombs. As you can see in this photo, Woody always kept a nice garden. Our home is no longer standing and today this is an empty lot owned by my sister Karen.

this place was where where my school teacher lived, Mrs Hawks, her daughter was Trudy Hawks, I don't remember the rest of the family, after that came the McCarthy
