Wow this my great grandparents Willis and Doris Cowans old home. Barn and shed is no longer there and house has been modified since then. I actually live right next door to here. This is so cool seeing this.

Oh my goodness, Marshall. The child playing in the drive way could be me or Kathy. If you look to the left side, the building is where Kathy and I lived during our child hood. If you look at that little building right next to our house, the little building right close to the house is where your grandfather hand sewed shoes for ?? can't remember the name of the company. It was the old building on Waverly Ave. in Pittsfield. This is the picture that a man showed Dad and me several years ago. It would be so cool hanging in my living room. Maybe some day.

No, Jen, it wasn't SAS then it was North East Shoe Co. in the old building. The new building was SAS and yes he worked there too after they bought out NES. But after a while he sewed shoes at home for Dexter Shoe.
