This was the William Sturtevant farm on Western Avenue in Fairfield and now known as Center Road. The barn burned in about 1966.Some of the land has been made into a housing development and my daughter now owns the home and about a half acre. The silo in the photo was taken down and moved to a farm owned by Roger Fortin in Wales Maine. His dad Leo Fortin once owned this farm in the 1940'S.
