Savage place across from the Cambridge Masonic Lodge, Cambridge, Maine.

This is where I was born & brought up.
My Great Great parents Joseph M & Mercy (Bussell) Mitchell built this house in 1834.
They came here from Norway, Maine.
My Great Grandfather Alva W Mitchell was born here in 1834.
My parents lived here when I was born in 1934.

In a lot of these old pictures you will see big shade trees next to the road such as these rock maple there were quite a few big elem trees as well,not to many years prior to this era there would have been horses using the roads the trees would have help to help keep horses and passengers cooler in summer.
