The corner of Rt. 174 (Fort Knox Rd.) and Ferry Road, Prospect. The buildings are still there in 2015 but there's a lot more trees!
This was called Percy Mill's store in the '50s
I believe Percy Mills built this store to be opened in 1931 when the Waldo Hancock bridge opened.
Building is still there, but in 2021 it sits in a very dilapidated condition. The road leading to the right is part of the original roadway that went to the Ferry Warf which served the Towns of Prospect and Bucksport across the river prior to the construction of the original Waldo-Hancock Bridge in the 1930's
