Hansonville Rd and Rte. 15, across from Resthaven Cemetary

This is White Cottage Inn (what is now Route 15 and Hansonville Road - across from Resthaven Cemetery). I grew up in the house just under the "A" in "vintage." My sister and brother-in-law live there now. White Cottage had a restaurant in the basement and was a liquor store with gas pumps. After Hurricane Agnes hit in June 1972, the restaurant and gas pumps permanently closed. The liquor store continued to operate well into the late 1980s/early 1990s. The building burned down in 2005. It was rebuilt and is now serving as a small apartment complex. The four houses behind it still stand. Route 15 in this picture was a single road back then.
