Cow Field, Amesbury
Behind Post Office and Hollow Cafe
I use to play there all the time back in the 50's and 60's. yup we called it the Cow Field.
My Dad and his brother owned this property, Patten's Hollow. They ran Roy Bros. Construction. You can see the dump trucks in the picture. The little white building at the bottom of the picture was originally the Yeo Chevrolet office when it was located at the intersection of Hillside and Route 110 where Route 150 exists now to access Route 495. The building was moved to Patten's Hollow when construction began on Route 495.
How can I get a copy of this photo?
I was raised on east greenwood street right in patrons hollow next to the cow field!
