Bad Axe schools

Bad Axe High School, 750 S Van Dyke Road, Bad Axe, MI. The school is now currently known as Bad Axe Middle School, which it became after a new high school building was built in the back part of the photo in 1995. It was known as Bad Axe Junior High School when I was attending school. Also seen in this photo are George E. Greene Elementary School and the First Baptist Church on the left, and the Bad Axe Intermediate School at the top which is now known as Bad Axe Elementary. The Greene School was closed in 2011 and a recent consolidation plans sees BA Elementary closing as well, leaving only the "new" High School and the Middle School building which would become the elementary school.
