I was able to pin the location of this house because I used to work for Detroit Edison. Back in 2003, this property was on one of my routes. I had to park at the road because the driveway still existed, except you couldn't see where it was under the overgrowth. The meter was near the pole and near where the house used to be, and in 2003 you could tell something was there at one time, and even in the deep weeds, I figured it was a trailer home. I don't know how long it's been gone, long enough for the grass to take over, but not long enough for Edison to pull the meter, apparently. I love history and how time changes things. That's why the job was a lot of fun, stumbling upon old homes and people who want to talk about the "good ole days".
