Photo 22-OMA-1 from 1982

Comments

This is where I grew up. I'm Shirley Nash. My dad and mom, Arthur and Bettie Nash bought and owned this property. It was bought in the late 50s early 60s. My dad planted 21 of the forty acres in fruit trees. We sold peaches, apples, cherries, prune/plums, and apricots out of the front yard. You can see the 20 bushel apple crates in the picture. This was taken in the fall of 1982. We purchased a painting of this picture in the spring of 1982 when my father was suck and dying from cancer. We gave it to him as a Father's Day gift in 83. He passed in September of 1983.
