I own this property now, since November, 2014. The house has gone through an extensive renovation and has had a small 10' addition on the north side to extend the kitchen and create a space for a master bathroom.
The original property was on four rolling acres. In 2015, eight acres on the south side - from 72nd to highway 31 - and ten acres directly behind the original four acres went up for sale and was purchased to make a 22-acre property. The back pasture was tilled this year and is now an oat field. The house will have occupancy beginning in August, 2017. The property is now called Black Meadow Farm, LLC.
Purchase the house, the original four acres, and the surrounding eighteen acres in 2014. The house addition and renovations completed in 2017. The small shack behind the house was removed for safety reasons and will be rebuilt as a small art studio.
We are farming oats and hay now. Future plans are organic farming, honey, and specialized hazelnut trees for this growing zone.
