John F Farrell Elementary School

3300 Kinney Road (M-19) is south of Dunnigan Road (Old M-21). The John F Farrell Elementary School was named after Father John Farrell who was the much beloved priest of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Originally the school building was Our Lady of Mount Carmel school taught by nuns. In 1974 the school became part of the Yale School District and renamed after Father Farrell.
