Northwest corner of Jackson Rd and Baker Rd.
Yes I lived in the "Cabins " 1958-60. I believe there were 12 units. The house at left is where the owner's lived. Vince & Dorthy Merkel. The Star Drive-in is in the center foreground. Which they also owned. Do you know what year this was? There is now a Credit bureau where the Drive-in was, a McDonald's in the area between the Drive-in and the driveway and a truck stop between the driveway and off ramp at the top of photo

The year this photo was taken to our knowledge is 1963. If you look right above the photos the state/county/year are always listed to the best of our knowledge.

James, do you know if these were originally a motor court motel?
Many places like this in the Jackson and Ann Arbor areas were originally built or adapted to house WWII factory workers.

No. To the best of my knowledge the Merkel's built them. the next photo on the roll #12 was a motel about 1/2 mile west. But I cannot recall the name.
