Peder Pederson homesteaded here around 1883, and still owned it in the 1910's. By 1931 this was the Steffan & Lena Svar farm. Steffan still owned the farm in 1950, but rented it to Clarence Hillstrom. By 1960 Gaylord & Arlyce Weeding farmed here, and they still owned it in the 2000's, although the farm was vacant for a time. By 2009, Matthew & Tamara Heinrich owned the farm, which has changed very little since this photo was taken.
