Roger Moen Farm

The farm I grew up on!!

Soren Robertson homesteaded here around 1880, then it was owned by H.L. & Wilhelmine Robertson, who rented it to Paul & Avis Moen in 1931. In 1950, Oswald Robertson farmed here, then it was back in the Moen family by 1960: Alfred & Lena Moen owned it and rented it to Roger & Annette Moen, who owned it outright by 1976. Roger still owned it ten years ago, but the farm looks to have been vacant since the 90's. Five years ago, only the grove and some grain bins remained.

This is the farm I grew up on. It may be vacant but is still a favorite place for us to go. My Brother, Husband, and Our children hunt out there all fall. This past year our Grandson Beaux had his first experience of hunting. We take our Ranger out there and ride and enjoy the wildlife and the peace and quiet. We were always told it was Gods country!! So it may look vacant but to me it is still home and will always be.
