John Anderson established a timber claim on this land around 1895. There was apparently no farm here in 1899, so I'm not sure when this farm was established. It was owned by J.E. Larson by 1910, and In 1931 Josephine Kjenstad owned the farm and rented it to Joseph & Helen Ecklund. Josephine still owned the farm in 1950 but it was apparently vacant then. By 1960, Lornell & Jean Danielson farmed here, and continued to when this photo was taken. In 1999, Lornell still owned the farm, but it was vacant again. In 2002, Scott & Laurie Maas owned the farm, and Earl Johnson lived there, which was still the case 10 years ago.
