'The Old Strawberry Farm' was bought by Gerry and Elaine Lambert in 1963 or 64 and the Lamberts lived there for next 48 years. The little white barn in the foreground sat on the edge of a duck pond, frequently flooded in the spring, but it burned down in 1974-ish. The other shed was part machine shed and part storage for the strawberry farm that covered adjoining field, as well as the apple orchard that stretched towards the house.
