This was the second brick house built in Marion County. It was razed in 1972. I lived there as a child. The farm belongs to my mother, Joyce Vannice now, and has had many improvements; grain bins, a farm shop, large machine shed, and new home directly north (in front) of the old brick house. Of the structures in this photo, only the concrete silo stands, as the bins were cleared out by a tornado in 2003.
