This was my Grandfather, Homer Hamilton's farm until the 1930's when a fire destroyed the house and they moved to Lakenan, up the road. Mr Saunders then bought the farm. The house in this picture was built after the fire. The Barn in this picture was built by my Uncles after the previous barn burned sometime before the house burned. A couple hundred yards to the left of the house the farm is in Monroe County. This part of the farm in the picture is actually in Shelby County.
