The house and what was a garage on the right belonged to a man who ran a heating oil company in town for years. He also sold Homgas and kerosene. Selling his business to Burnham Fuel who sold to Bellemore Fuel who sold to Irving Oil ! Cathy or Kathy Burnham was a Miss New Hampshire in the mid 1970s and was in the town Whing Ding Parade that year. The house now belongs to the Covenant Congregational Church.
The metal building is gone now and is the site of the town leech field. Built in the late 1950s to house the "Greenfield Industries", a wood working business. In the mid 1960s the Post Office was here. Then an electronics firm "Jeffco" bought it making circuit boards. In the 1980s East Coast Steel ran their business here before moving to Claremont, NH in the 1990s.
