In 1843, my great-great-grandparents David and Nancy (Townsend) McNeely built the house that you can just see to the left of the big tree. They had a huge barn, but only one section is still standing and can be seen under the "G" in "Vintage. There are two apples trees still standing in what was their orchard. They are to the right of the "E" in "Vintage". The farm was passed down to my cousin Pam Hamilton Humphreys. She sold it to Harry and Yvonne Kickuth who built all of the other buildings in the photo, including the large extension at the back of the house. The huge tree in the middle of the photo is a maple that turns a gorgeous gold in the Autumn.
