We lived here from 1979 to 1988. Barn was originally built for a barn dance barn. Hard wood floors in the hay loft. My parents held a couple barn dances before converting to dairy farm. And built the free stall barn. Skated on the pond in the back. Many fond childhood memories climbing the apple trees and playing in the creek and hay loft. It since has converted to a horse farm and a large contemporary house was built.

My sister Mary Ellen has this summed up very nicely. I loved living on this farm. We had one central source of heat and a dug well with really good tasting water but would dry up on a hot dry summer. The basement would flood every spring with rain and snow melt.
