This was my childhood home, then later Sedgefield Baptist Church. My parents built the original building in 1958 - seen on the right. The front part was the store and the part extending to the back was our living area. We moved away in 1970 and the Church bought it a few years later. The store became the sanctuary and the living area became offices and Sunday school. The Church grew and built the large sanctuary and connecting corridor years later. In the early 00s a road widening project required the building's removal so it was demolished through condemnation.
