The Swallows restaurant at the Texaco station and Aunt Jemima's Kitchen. Rt 45 at I-90. The Swallows is gone and would be next to the present day Flying J Travel Center.
The last business at the front building on the near side was Mr C's Ice Cream, the Aunt Jemima's was another restaurant.
I recently visited this place and am currently working on a video of the place. the place was unlocked and everything left inside as though everyone vanished. check out my YouTube below and look for the video soon. Oh and I found a 2004 news article on the place I will post too

My family lived in Ashtabula Ohio in the 1960s. Several times we went to The Aunt Jemima Restaurant. I liked to order the silver dollar pancakes because they were little, like me. The entire family was enthralled by the variety of syrups served in the restaurant. We tried all of them before moving to Michigan in the spring of 1969. We did visit Ashtabula that summer. I remember watching NASA transmissions from the moon at the Holiday Inn Hotel next to the Aunt Jemima Restaurant.
Nice story, Nancy. I'm retired from NASA where I worked from 1964 to 2005.
