My dad, uncles, and aunt grew up in this house. My grandparents bought it in 1943/44. The family moved into the house in March of '44. Two of my uncles were born after they moved into the house, in 1946 & 1950. My grandfather died there in the '60.
The property was sold to the Nature Conservancy either in the late'70's it early '80's. About 4 years ago, it was donated to the Lake Metroparks, and my parents, who had rented it for the past 20 something years had to move out. Earlier this summer, the house was torn down.
