This is the Thomas R. Long Homestead. Thomas was born in Pennsylvania in the 1830s son of B. M. Long. The Bank barn was Built in the summer of 1894. The house was also moved to its present location in the 1890s on logs, to move it further from the road. The house and most of the farm still exists today, owned by the Hess Family.
