Mobil home park on Old Rt. 127 north of Greenville, Ohio. The St. Rt. 127 Bypass is in the background. Not sure of the name of the mobile home park. Maybe Shady Lane? No longer there in 2015.
This was Paul Van Kirk's store/restaurant and mobile home park from the 1940s on. Shady Lane was 10 miles further up the road. This is located 1/4 a mile north of the old Chidren's Home on old 127 north.

The center part of the building with the steep roof was originally built as a Refiners Gasoline station around 1928 when US-127 ran in front of it. a couple years later, the company was purchased by Standard Oil and it became a SOHIO station. The road segment in front was bypassed when US-127 was rerouted to a new 4 lane bypass of Greenville in 1969 which is visible in the top of this photo.
Looks vacant now a days.
