This house was built sometime in the early 1900s. It actually belongs in northern Franklin county (it is right on the border). In 1987 it was rented out to several different tenants. Around that time, the buildings in the back were razed. First, it was a child care center, then during the 1990s it was Essential Interior Painting. Finally before it was abandoned in 2003, it was The Clintonville Tree Service. The house was abandoned for five years until August 12 2008 when a teenager named Chris burned it down. Chris soon committed suicide on a nearby railway crossing. The property was razed completely later that year.
