This is the house I lived in from the time I was born until I was in kindergarten. We referred to it as the "little house on Wahl Rd." vs the "big house on Wahl Rd" which was right across the street. This house was for the assistant manager of the Ohio Agriculture Research and Development Center (OARDC), run through the Ohio State University. It had 3 bedrooms, and 1 1/2 baths for our parents and 7 kids. The Big house was for the manager, and we moved there in '68, I believe. I have fond memories of catching lightning bugs under the large willow trees in the back yard! The house is no longer standing, though the pear tree next to the garage is. The flag pole across the road was our "base" for many games of hide and seek, played on dark summer nights!
