I lived in this house from December of 1959 until July of 1966.
The house was torn down around 2000 and the sight is now a strip shopping center. The house was built in 1860.Known as "The Pines" it served as a gambling casino and speak-easy in the 1920's.It was raided
and shut down by the Bexley,Ohio police in the late 20's.Many of the interior doors were armor plated and had peep holes. All of the windows had buzzers and there was a machine gun mount in one of the upstairs rooms.
