81 is the year my husband bought this place and cleaned it up. The previous owner had basically turned the property into a junk yard. We tore the old house down in 90 and built a cape cod just behind where the old house stood.

The black and white (paint) horse you see was my horse "Flash". I purchased him in November of 1965 as a 2 year old. I was 10 years old at that time. He had a heart as big as a bushel basket. We traveled hundreds of miles together. I had to put him down when he was 32 years old. It broke my heart!
