You can't see the house for the trees. My grandfather planted those trees (now cut down). The house was built on the Marks farm between Morenci, MI and Lyons, OH. The young couple it was built for never moved into it. My grandfather bought it and moved it to this location south of Morenci in about 1924 (give or take). My mother remembered the basement being ready but the house wasn't there yet. My grandmother lived in the house until her death in 1972. It belonged to Roy and Bertha Jackson.
