Oakdale Elementary is located right behind this farm. The house and barns have been demolished and a bank and doctor office now sit in the property.
Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn
The pin on the map is centered on the farm site in the photo above. All the buildings have been razed and removed and the site redeveloped into Commercial use. The buildings and site configuration as noted in the photo are clearly shown on Ohio Dept. of Transportation aerial photo 998-1-5, dated Jan. 9, 1958. The Mail Pouch barn is ID'd as MPB 35-31-03 on the Mail Pouch Barnstormer's website.
