The first part of this house was built in the early 1880's. The cousin of the Faber family helped build it. He signed his name on one of the boards in the attic. The second part was added in the early 1890's. We found a piece of paper that read "Frank Faber Nov.16 1891" in the wall. This is my wife's family home. We moved in in May of 2018. After gutting it and redoing the good stuff. It was cool to see the hand cut native timber and those hand made nails. Or should I say spikes lol.
