This home was originally built in the mid to late 1800s by the Knapp family. Dennis & Susan Knapp lived in it in the late 1800’s. They had two children, Benjamin & Lillie. After Dennis passed away, Lillie and her husband William Oscar Griffin lived in it. Lillie Griffin passed away not long after marrying W. Óscar Griffin. W. Óscar Griffin lived in the home and married a couple other times. Eventually the home sold and was lived in by Harley Olcott and his family. A few other generations of Olcott family have lived here since. The home was originally a log cabin. Nowadays, the home has an additional 4 car garage, and only one of the outbuildings from these photos still remains.
