Seymour Norton's farm on the east side of Quarry Rd just north of present day Middle Ave, Amherst. You can just make out the "S NORTON" on the barn roof. Mr Norton lived on the farm his entire life and passed away in the early 1950s. Sometime after that the farm was sold for development. Today Crest Dr runs just past where the back of the barn was. The house across the street was also a Norton home. It is still there although expanded and remodeled.

The S. Norton Barn is long gone. Westwoods trailer park is currently located on that side of the road. The homestead across from the farm still stands.
