The Stanley Gacesa farm on the north side of SR 162 (foreground) just west of SR 511 (background), Rochester. Formerly owned by Loran Pifer the Gacesas took over the 183 acre farm in the early 1940s. Most of the barns are still there although the long twin sheds on either end of the big barn were gone long ago. It appears the house was recently replaced.

Featured in the Wellington Enterprise as a "Mystery Farm" in the 1950s. This series of articles had a brief history and an aerial photo of each farm. Thanks to Cindy Kurpely of the Rochester Historical Society for providing the article. Search the Lorain County main page for "mystery" to see other farms featured.
