My parents bought this farm in 1967. Had horses for riding for several years.

Were the horse kept in the barn that we see in this photo? Did you grow up on this property?
The horses had access to the big barn 24/7 with the pasture being the fenced area shown. The smaller barn had horse stalls that were used anytime we planned on riding them. It was an excellent set-up for enjoying horseback riding and care of the horses (grooming, ect.) Yes, I grew up on this property.

I believe this is currently the Days of Yore Herb Farm at 42925 Jones Road.
Likely originally constructed by Samuel W. Nash circa 1850. Nash owned the property until his death in 1870, after which his wife Linda retained the property until her own death in 1874. It was later owned by E. S. Newcomb until at least 1912.
