The Building still stands, but it is now a shopping center for the Adjacent Walmart.

Building this incurred many years of delays as there was not a large enough water and sewer lines to handle commercial buildings in this area. The county finally Gerrymandered a long extension of the Oberlin city limits so it could be included in the Oberlin water district. When you look at Google Maps for Oberlin you can see the strange outline of the city limits which now encompass the Walmart also.
