Sylvester and Elilza (Sherer) Russell farm, built in 1859. Passed down to George and Cora Kutzly, then to Frederick and Anna Sipher, and finally to present owners, Richard and Fritzie (Sipher) Shifferley. The house had a "summer house" that is now the attached garage. Other additions have been made. The original barn is now covered with newer siding, and still has the original structural beams. The maple tree in the back yard is over 200 years old.
