small quarries and airstrip

This is where I grew up and had a fantastic childhood. 110 acre cattle farm (cow calf). The quarry shown was one of 2 on the property that also included 2 smaller ponds and 2 rental houses. We also had a small sod air strip and a hanger. My dad was a builder and developer and built the house and the barns which also included one of the first pole barns in the Lucas county area. We lived here from the early 50's to the mid 70's. Property was bought from the Metzgers. It was a working quarry farm at one time.
