This was the Dixieland Motel. It was torn down around 1972. The Fifth Third Bank is on this corner now. The larger building was a dance hall in the 1930 1950 era. The little cabins were rented out by the night, week or monthly.
This is the NE Corner of US-25/Dixie Highway (now County Rd. 25A) and OH-571. This is an example of a Cabin Camp/Cottage Court which were popular in the late 1920's-1930's and proceeded motels that had all of the rooms adjacent to one another and under one roof.
Been by this place a few times.
