Former Farm of Samuel & Mary Ellen (Botkins) Bates. Their son, Hobart (Pete) Bates and his wife, Beatrice McVicker would later live there. Grant Moore Road. Bridge on Seneca Lake Road (SR 147) crossing over Seneca Lake. Mary Ellen was the sister of my great-grandmother, Susan Lashley.
