The road through the field is no longer there. The cattle field is now soy beans.

I don't think there is even one cherry tree left in the row between the house and the garden now. Lightening hit the Catawba Tree near the swing set and caused the south basement wall under the old part of the house to crack and start to cave in. A company was hired to dig out reinforce and replace that section. You can still see the remains of the old sand box in this and I see the old corn picker peeking out behind the corn crib. When I was little I'd pretend it was a dinosaur.
