The navy station wagon in this driveway was the one that I eventually took to Ohio State. This pick-up truck was aqua and it had a sticky 1st gear -- but I learned how to drive stick shift by slowly letting out the clutch so it wouldn't stall out. Also, we had many "barn parties" in this big old barn. I remember this farm well. :)

This is the house, out buildings and 40-acre property my mom and step dad purchased in 1964. They demolished an attached porch at the back of the house as well as the old out house building, and constructed a kitchen addition, bathroom and heating system prior to our moving in during December 1964. This photo of the farm appears to look very much as it did when my parents sold it to the Heichaels (sp) family from Green Springs in 1968. My sister Cindy raised two beef calves to maturity in the barn, where I have many fond memories of barn parties and playing in the hay loft. The happiest years of my childhood were spent here.
