This is the corner of Fulton and Wales where the Jackson township Safety Center now is. My mom always called it the "Wheeler Farm".

My family moved to Jackson Township in 1953 and are still there. This farm was the Yerkey farm. The Wheelers helped run the farm, after Mrs. Yerkey passed away it became the "Wheeler" farm. I graduated with John Wheeler his older brother Jim graduated a couple of years earlier. The inside of that home was beautiful!

the house was moved thru the field that is jackson park now it sits on the other side of the park trail . it sat stuck all winter out in that field !
