Restaurant, bar on state RT 250. Been a few things over the years, Newer building here now. Not sure but believe this building burned. Shady Rest Army Navy Club To the left was the site for Shady Rest Beach City Flea Market

I remember this and the flea market well. I stopped there many times in the 1990s. In 1988 this was the Shady Rest Tavern. I remember it was a biker bar. The park was listed as an Ohio state roadside rest park but the directory did not say what side it was on.

The Ohio State road side park was on the opposite side of the road from Shady Rest and was closed and done away with quite a few years ago.
