Quakertown Family Restaurant, RT 309 , Still there and serving good food!
This photo shows the Howard Johnson restaurant located at 25 N West End Blvd (Route 309), Quakertown, PA. In 1986 became a Bob's Big Boy and is now the Quakertown Family Restaurant. Previously, this was the home of Smitty's Drive-In, a popular local spot that claimed to be the start of the Webber Cheesesteak sandwich.
The garage in the back right of the parking lot is no longer standing.
